Consider a blog as one article or one topic. There are many blogs comprising Calimbas Chronicles. Each blog has one post. Other blogs like Leopoldo Calimbas has several link to blogs shown on the right side.
Use Chrome as your web browser, go to the blog by typing
calimbaschronicles.blogspot.com
To make changes to the blog go to the dashboard by:
Go to the main blog Calimbas Chronicles,
Go down and find your name under Contributors. Click your name. (if your name is not in the Contributors, notify Pol Calimbas).
Click the B button to enter the dashboard. Now you can edit.
How to Add A Blog
Click the little down arrow to get a list of all blogs. At the last entry at the bottom is "New Blog". Click it. Choose a name for your blog. Click Next and enter the link address you want your blog to have. Make it unique to your blog like "poljobhistory1". The link address will really be poljobhistory1.blogspot.com. Note this address.
Your blog is created but no content yet. Click on"+New Post" to create a post for this blog. Put a title. Now you can go to the main body on the screen and start typing the contents. Make the font Default Font and tT size large. You can paste any excerpt of your post in here. Set the Theme by clicking on Theme on the left side. Scroll down and click Simple. Click Apply. Continue editing.
To finish the blog, hit Publish on the upper right. You can hit Update whenever changes are made.
I made blogs with only one post. You can make several posts per blog if so desired.
Inserting Photos
Get the photo you want ready. On the post position the cursor to where you want the photo to be inserted. Click on Insert image on the tab in the upper area below the red line. Click upload from computer. Then drag and drop the photo to the blog. I use Windows Explorer for the photos. The photo will be copied to your blog. You can make adjustments left or right, make it bigger, add caption. You can also delete the photo.
Editing the Blog
Bring the blog you want edited. Double click on the post and the contents will be shown on the screen Make your changes. Hit Update. You can view the blog from the selection on the left side.
Backup of the Blog
The backup of Calimbas Chronicles is done using Google Takeout. There is one zip file that contain all of the posts. The name is
takeout-xxxxxxxxxx created by Google Takeout.
To import files to the Blog, Google the instructions in "Blogger: how to import from Google Takeout". As of this writing I have not done this, importing a post into a blog. When I do, I will write down detailed instruction on how to import individual posts.
